History of Air Way Automation

History

Here is a brief history of Air Way Automation:

1975

Air Way Automation is founded by Pete Albright as a special machine, design and build manufacturing company in Gaylord, Michigan

1977

The company was incorporated and relocated to Grayling, Michigan

1983

Bob Toms joined the company as an independent sales representative

1980s

Bob and Pete developed what became known as the ladder style automated feed system

Development of patented manifold mount escapement allowing for the feeding of fasteners with low air pressure

1992

Air Way Automation purchased by Bob Toms and Jack Bickler

Through the years many improvements have been made to enhance the quality and performance of our feed systems

Air Way Automation feed systems have become the industry standard in the North American automotive industry
